Bokito!!!

This silverback Gorilla is Bokito! He is the huge male
Gorilla from the Zoo in Rotterdam. In may of 2007
the then 11 years old Bokito who weighs 180 kilo breaks out
and he is running free in the zoo for about one and a half hour.
4 people get wounded one woman really bad and ends up
in the hospital.
Bokito grabbed that woman and dragged her through the zoo.
He broke a window of the restaurant where they finally
caught him with the help of a stun gun.

After the attack they made the island Bokito and the
other monkey’s live on ‘Bokito proof’ so that he can never
get out again.

How and why he jumped over the water that was 4 meters wide
they don’t know because Gorilla’s have a natural fear of water.
Something or someone must have made him angry.
So here’s my advise never look Bokito directly in the eyes.
